The mystery remains.ArticulateDadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08407769773596623808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3002038439593481614.post-34191737955555644212007-10-30T20:18:00.000-05:002007-10-30T20:18:00.000-05:00I added a link to the actual article online. In a quick google search, I also see no evidence for Ph.D. salaries at that level, even in the business world.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10766222493968363248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3002038439593481614.post-50632465968512347522007-10-30T14:58:00.000-05:002007-10-30T14:58:00.000-05:00Hi Greg. Given the context, I would assume they are referring specifically to pharmaceutical researchers. I find it hard to believe however that the average starting salary for a PhD in Biochemistry is anywhere near $200k/year! I could be wrong. But I don't think so.ArticulateDadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08407769773596623808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3002038439593481614.post-89100755549023740032007-10-30T13:15:00.000-05:002007-10-30T13:15:00.000-05:00I'm guessing they are referring to Ph.D.s in Busin...I'm guessing they are referring to Ph.D.s in Business, Finance, Management, etc. which can fetch over $100,000 as an Asst.
